WHAT IS RAMIE?
Ramie is made from the stalks of the Chinese Nettle plant.
The spun threads are woven into a lightweight open-weave pattern resulting in a luxurious natural texture like that of linen.
Ramie is one of the strongest natural fibres & has been used for over 5,000 years. It is highly sustainable & eco-friendly.

To wash, use a cold, gentle wash cycle & mild detergent containing no bleach or optical brightening agents.
Do not soak, bleach or tumble dry. Be sure to air-dry in the shade. Do not dry or store in direct sunlight as this may damage fibres & cause discolouration.

Lovely, soft fabric, great colour & very roomy. I can literally fit all my essentials plus shopping! Great for the beach or a picnic but equally stylish as a day bag I could see it used as a beautiful baby bag too Handy pockets, inside & out, one with a zip for security. It has comfortable ,flat & surprisingly sturdy shoulder straps. I've carried heavy groceries in this bag! I've had so many people asking me where I bought this cool bag & have passed on your site
